Deakyn racked up 170 yards receiving, including two big touchdown catches of 70 and 23 yards. Defensively he may have saved the game in the 3rd quarter as he caught California's Lee Qualk from behind on a sure touchdown run to force a fumble into the end zone for a Jefferson-Morgan touchback. The Rockets won 28-27 and claimed the Tri-County South title! | |

Senior Night at Jefferson-Morgan was the final volleyball match for the Rocket seniors, including Alisa. They would go out on a high note, knocking off playoff-bound West Greene, 3-1. The Rockets dropped the first set but rallied for three straight to win it. Alisa led her team in kills and was recognized during the match for her 500th career kill. | |

In a tightly contested county-rival game, Jefferson-Morgan scored 5 touchdowns in a 34-28 win over Waynesburg. Houston had a hand in four of the five TDs. He completed 12 of 15 passes for 152 yards and a touchdown, and on the ground had 25 carries for 99 yards and 3 rushing touchdowns! The Rockets are 2-0 heading into Week 2. | |
